Stodal Infantil Syrup 150 ml
What is Stodal Infantil and what is it used for?
Stodal Infantil is a syrup in the form of a 150 ml dosage cup.
Stodal Infantil is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used for the symptomatic treatment of non-productive, dry and irritating coughs.
2. Before taking STODAL for children
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
At the recommended dose, Stodal for Children has no effect on the ability to drive a car or operate machinery.
Stodal for Children contains sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that you cannot tolerate certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Patients with diabetes mellitus should take note:
Each 2.5 ml of Stodal for Children contains 2.1 g of sucrose.
Each 5 ml of Stodal for Children contains 4.2 g of sucrose.
Each 15 ml of Stodal for Children contains 12.6 g of sucrose.

How should STODAL Infant be taken?
Use the measuring cup to measure out the amount indicated below:
Children under 5 years of age: 2.5 ml 3 to 4 times a day and from 5 years of age: 5 ml 3 to 5 times a day.
Over 18 years of age: 15ml 3 to 5 times a day.
Doses should be taken throughout the day and at bedtime.
Oral use.
A syrup should not be used for prolonged periods.

If you think the effect of Stodal for children is too strong or too weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Stodal for children should not be used for productive cough. Chronic bronchial or lung disease.
If symptoms worsen or persist after 5 days, consult your doctor.
The course of treatment should not exceed 5 days. If you have taken more Stodal for Children than you should, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
If you forget to take a dose of Stodal for Children, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Stodal for Children may have side effects.
If you notice any reaction not described in this leaflet, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

5. Storage of STODAL for children
No special storage conditions are required.
Do not use Stodal for Children after the expiry date shown on the carton.
Medicines should not be flushed down the drain or thrown away. Please dispose of unused medicines and containers at the SIGRE point at the pharmacy.
If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unused medicine containers and medicines. This will help protect the environment.
Keep this medicine out of the reach and sight of children.
