Fisiogen Ferro Forte®, which contains 30 mg of iron in each tablet/sachet, is indicated for all patients with anaemia due to iron deficiency, haematic or chronic losses, reduced intestinal absorption or iron deficiency anaemia due to other illnesses. On the other hand, the characteristic absorption of liposomal iron makes Fisiogen Ferro Forte® the ideal iron for those patients in whom there is a problem in the absorption of oral iron due to the presence of a high inflammatory component in the organism. This group includes anaemic patients treated with erythropoietin who need to achieve and/or maintain optimal iron levels, such as patients with renal insufficiency who have reduced endogenous erythropoietin production and are undergoing pre- or dialysis treatment, or patients with neoplasms and undergoing chemo- and radiotherapy, often the cause of iron deficiency anaemia.
