2. What you need to know before you start taking oscillococcinum globule unit-dose container
Do not take Oscillococcinum globule unit dose pack if you are allergic to Anas barbariae or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or may need to take any other medicines, including medicines that do not require a prescription.
Taking Oscillococcinum single-dose pack for globules with food and drink
Take oscillococcinum single-dose pack for globules preferably away from food.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility
If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Driving and use of machines
No studies on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.
Oscillococcinum globule unit dose pack contains lactose and sucrose (sugar). If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, ask your doctor before taking this medicine. It may damage your teeth.
3. How to take Oscillococcinum globule unit-dose container
Follow the instructions for taking the medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are in any doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist again.
The recommended dose is:
Prevention: take 1 single-dose pack for globules per week during the influenza exposure period (September to March).
At the onset of the first symptoms, take 1 pack of globules 3 times a day as soon as possible. Continue with this dosage for as long as symptoms persist.
If symptoms worsen, consult your doctor.
Allow the globules to dissolve under the tongue.
Although no studies have been carried out to support the paediatric dosage, the recommended dosage for children is the same as above.
In children under 24 months of age, dissolve the contents of one single-dose container in a small amount of water and administer when completely dissolved.
In case of worsening of symptoms or if there is no improvement 7 days after starting treatment, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.
Oscillococcinum single-dose pack for globules requires individualised dosage. Consult your pharmacist or doctor trained in homeopathy.
Sublingual use.
If you have taken more Oscillococcinum globules unit-dose pack than you should, or in case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your doctor or pharmacist or call the Poisons Information Service, telephone 915 620 420, indicating the medicine and the quantity taken.
If you forgot to take oscillococcinum granule unit dose pack
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
