Glycerol, the active ingredient of this medicine, is a laxative administered rectally.
The laxative effect is achieved by glycerol's ability to soften the stool which, together with a mild local irritant action, stimulates bowel movements.

The recommended dose is:
Adults: 1 suppository a day, as needed, or as prescribed by your doctor. Adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 suppository per day, as needed, or as prescribed by a doctor.
Route of administration:
The medicine is administered rectally. After removing the suppository from the container, insert it deeply into the rectum through the flat end. Hold the evacuation as long as possible to allow the medicine to work. If at the time of administration you feel resistance, you should stop the administration, as it may be harmful and harmful, and consult your doctor.
The medicine should not be used for more than 7 days in a row. If symptoms do not improve, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
INDICATIONS

COMPOSITION
Vilardell Adult Glycerine Suppositories are translucent suppositories, colourless or with a slight yellowish tinge. They come in a jar with 18 suppositories and in a blister with 12 suppositories.
The active ingredient is glycerol. Each suppository contains 3,000 mg of glycerol. The other component (excipient) is sodium stearate.
