Telfast 120 mg 7 Tablets.
Telfast indications
It is used in adults and adolescents 12 years and older to relieve symptoms associated with hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) such as sneezing, itching, runny or stuffy nose, and itchy, red, watery eyes.
Action and Mechanism of Telfast 120 mg
It contains fexofenadine hydrochloride, which is an antihistamine. It partially mitigates symptoms associated with allergic processes such as eye redness or nasal congestion. It also produces a slight bronchodilator effect and a decrease in dermal itching.
Clinical experience also seems to show that fexofenadine is able to prevent the release of histamine from mast cells.
