Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) has been used as a medicinal herb since ancient Greek times. The most active and most commonly used parts are the underground organs (rhizome, roots and stolons). Its main constituents are essential oils (0.3-1%) containing monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes and less volatile sesquiterpene acids, such as valerenic acid.
HOW TO USE IT
Valerian Leo 60 Tablets. Farmacheca recommends taking 2 tablets up to 3 times a day. To facilitate sleep, take 2 tablets half an hour before going to sleep, and if necessary take 2 tablets in the afternoon.
