What is ARKOPHARMA CALIFORNIA POPPY and what is it used for?
Traditional herbal medicine used in the relief of nervousness and irritability, and as an aid to improve sleep, based exclusively on its traditional use.
You should consult a doctor if you get worse or if you do not improve after 28 days.
2. What you need to know before you start taking CALIFORNIA AMAPOLA ARKOPHARMA
Do not take ARKOPHARMA CALIFORNIA AMAPOLA
If you are allergic to any part of this medicine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
If you are under 18 years of age.
Warnings and precautions
Consult your pharmacist, doctor or nurse before starting to take AMAPOLA CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA.
Children and adolescents
This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age without consulting your pharmacist or doctor.
Taking CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA AMAPOLA with other medicines
Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or may take any other medicines.
Taking AMAPOLA CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA with food and drink
Alcoholic beverages should not be taken during treatment with this medicine.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
No adequate clinical studies have been performed in pregnant or breast-feeding women and therefore administration is not recommended.
Driving and using machines
This medicine may make you sleepy. Do not drive or use machines if you feel drowsy or if you notice that your attention and ability to react are reduced.
3. How to take AMAPOLA CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA
Follow these instructions unless your doctor has given you different instructions. Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are in any doubt.
The recommended dose is:
Adults:
Nervousness and irritability: take 2 capsules at breakfast and 2 capsules at dinner with a glass of water.
Sleep aid: take 2 capsules at dinner and 2 capsules at bedtime with a glass of water.
The dose can be increased to 6 capsules a day if necessary.
This medicine is for oral use.
Use for a period of 4 weeks, as needed.
Use in children
This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age without consulting your pharmacist or doctor.
If you take more AMAPOLA CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA than you should
No cases of overdose have been reported with ARKOPHARMA CALIFORNIA AMAPOLA. In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your pharmacist or doctor immediately or call the Poisons Information Service, telephone 91 562 04 20, indicating the product and the amount taken.
If you forget to take AMAPOLA CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA
If you miss a dose, take the medicine as soon as possible and continue the treatment as prescribed. However, if the next dose is near, it is best not to take the missed dose and wait for the next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for missed doses.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
At the recommended doses, AMAPOLA CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA does not have any
adverse effects.

5. Storage of AMAPOLA DE CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not store above 30ºC.
Do not use AMAPOLA DE CALIFORNIA ARKOPHARMA after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after the abbreviation CAD. The expiry date is the last day of the month indicated.
Medicines should not be disposed of down the drain or in the trash. Please dispose of unneeded medicines and
medicines that you do not need at the Sigre Point in the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unneeded medicines and packaging. In this way
help to protect the environment.

Composition of ARKOPHARMA CALIFORNIA AMAPOLA
Each capsule contains as active ingredient: 240 mg of cryo-ground flowering aerial parts of Eschscholtzia californica Cham (California Poppy).
The other ingredients are the excipients: gelatine (capsule shell).

There are 2 presentations in bottles containing 50 and 100 capsules.
