Biodramina Infantil 12,5mg Oral Solution 2,5mlx12 sticks is a medicine in stick presentation to be taken orally, indicated for motion sickness caused by travelling by means of locomotion. Its administration is indicated for children from 2 to 12 years of age.
Action and mechanism of Biodramina Infantil 12,5mg Oral Solution 2,5mlx12 sticks
Biodramina Infantil 12,5mg Oral Solution 2,5mlx12 sticks contains the active ingredient dimenhydrinate, an active ingredient that acts by preventing and treating the symptoms of motion sickness (nausea, vomiting and/or dizziness) caused by land, sea or air travel.
Dosage
Take the medicine orally with food, water or milk, at least ½ hour before the start of the journey, but preferably 1 to 2 hours before. If not taken beforehand, take it once symptoms appear.
The recommended dosage is as follows:
- Children aged 2 to 6 years: 1 to 2 sachets, repeating the dose every 6 to 8 hours if necessary, but never exceeding 6 sachets a day.
- Children from 7 to 12 years of age: 2 to 4 sachets, repeating the dose every 6 to 8 hours if necessary, but never exceeding 12 sachets a day.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine in case of:
- allergy to dimenhydrinate, diphenhydramine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- suffering from porphyria or asthmatic crisis.

- In patients with liver disease, consult a doctor first to adjust the dose.
- If symptoms worsen, or if they persist beyond 7 days, consult a doctor.
Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Composition
Active substance: dimenhydrinate. Each 2.5 ml sachet contains 12.5 mg dimenhydrinate.
Other ingredients (excipients): propylene glycol (E-1520), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), sucrose, saccharin sodium (E-954), sodium cyclamate (E-952), tutti frutti flavouring, sodium chloride and purified water.
