Anso Rectal Ointment 50 g is an ointment containing a series of powerful active ingredients that relieve the symptoms of haemorrhoids. Its anti-inflammatory action reduces pain during defecation and subsequent itching.
Its lidocaine content acts as a local analgesic and pentosan polysulphate sodium acts as an anticoagulant and helps to eliminate small blood clots.
Who is it indicated for?
It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of haemorrhoids in people over 18 years of age.
How is it applied?
After each bowel movement, wash the affected area with warm water and non-irritating soap or alcohol-free wipes. Then apply the ointment with a gentle massage.

As for the method of application, you should normally apply 1-3 times a day a 1-2 cm amount of ointment to the area to be treated. We recommend that you wash your hands after each application and before handling. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the pack: the last day of the month indicated.
