Novalac 1 Starter Milk 800 g is a baby milk specially developed for infants from birth to 6 months when breastfeeding is not possible.

It is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of babies at this stage of development. It contains essential nutrients for the proper growth and development of the baby, promoting proper digestion and a healthy immune system.

Novalac 1 is recommended by paediatricians as a safe and reliable alternative for babies who cannot be breastfed.

Technical advice

Before using any infant formula, consult your paediatrician. It should be used under medical supervision.

Best before: see the bottom of the container.

Remove the foil seal completely after first opening. Once opened, the contents should be used within 3 weeks.

Close the container tightly after each use with the plastic lid. Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination.

Do not add sugar. Do not use the bottle as a pacifier. Clean your baby's teeth after the last feed of the night. Do not use the rest of an unfinished bottle.

Follow the instructions for preparing the bottle. Improper preparation may be harmful to the infant's health.

The metal container, plastic cap and measuring spoon can be recycled. Please dispose of them in the appropriate container when you have finished using them.

Composition

Skimmed milk, milk proteins, vegetable oils (palm, coconut, soya, Brassica napus), lactose, galactooligosaccharides (milk), fish oil (DHA), emulsifier (soya lecithin), potassium citrate, potassium chloride, choline bitartrate, tricalcium phosphate, calcium chloride, sodium citrate, Mortierella alpina oil (ARA), L-tyrosine, vitamins [sodium L-ascorbate (C), DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (E), nicotinamide (niacin), calcium D-pantothenate, thiamine hydrochloride, retinyl acetate (A), pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6), riboflavin, folic acid, phytomenadione (K), D-biotin, cholecalciferol (D), cyanocobalamin (B12)], sodium chloride, ferric diphosphate, taurine, calcium citrate, calcium hydroxide, inositol, L-tryptophan, magnesium chloride, magnesium oxide, nucleotides [cytidine 5'-monophosphoric acid (CMP), disodium uridine 5'-monophosphate (UMP), adenosine 5'-monophosphoric acid (AMP), disodium inosine 5'-monophosphate (IMP), disodium guanosine 5'-monophosphate (GMP)], L-carnitine, zinc sulphate, potassium iodide, antioxidants (tocopherol-rich extract, L-ascorbyl palmitate), sodium selenite, cupric sulphate, manganese sulphate.

Directions for use

1. Wash and sterilise the bottle.

2. Boil water for 5 minutes and allow to cool to 40°C.

3. Pour in the required amount of water.

4. Add the number of level scoops to the bottle.

5. Close with the plastic lid and shake with the palms of your hands.

6. Shake well until completely dissolved. Remove the lid and add a sterilised teat.

7. Check the temperature (37°C) on the inside of your forearm.

8. The bottle should be consumed within 1 hour of preparation.
