Boiron Homeoplasmine Ointment 40 grams
1. What is homeoplasmine ointment and what is it used for?
HOMEOPLASMINE is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used for skin irritations.
HOMEOPLASMINE comes in the form of an ointment in a 40-gram tube.
2. Before using homeoplasmine ointment
HOMEOPLASMINE should not be used in:
- Children under three years of age.
- Patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any other component of the preparation.
- On infected or suppurating lesions.
As it contains boric acid, this medicine should not be used for prolonged or repeated periods, on broken skin (especially grazes and burns), over a large area or under occlusive dressings, particularly in children.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using any medicine.
Do not apply to the breasts during breastfeeding.
‘Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.’
3. How to use Homeoplasmine ointment?
Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
For external use only.

If you think that HOMEOPLASMINE is too strong or too weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
If symptoms worsen or persist, consult your doctor.
If you have used HOMEOPLASMINE more than you should, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
If you forget to use HOMEOPLASMINE ointment: Do not use a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, HOMEOPLASMINE can cause side effects.

5. Storage of Homeoplasmine ointment
Store at a temperature below 25ºC.
Do not use HOMEOPLASMINE after the expiry date stated on the box.
Medicines should not be disposed of via waste water or household waste. Return any unused medicine to your pharmacist. If you are unsure, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer require. This will help protect the environment.
Keep this medicine out of the reach and sight of children.
