Indications for Aero Red Forte
This medication is indicated for the symptomatic relief of digestive problems resulting from gas build-up in adults. Its use is recommended to destroy air bubbles and expel gas easily.
Action and Mechanism of Aero-Network Tablets
The main ingredient of Areo-red® is simethicone, an active ingredient that is administered orally and acts directly on the stomach and intestine. Its action reduces the surface tension of the mucogaseous bubbles, responsible for retaining gas, and eliminates gas and its discomfort.
Dosage
Strictly follow the administration instructions given in the product's leaflet (available for download at the top of this description), or those assigned by your doctor or pharmacist:
The recommended dose is 1 capsule after each main meal.
This medicine must be taken orally.
Accompany the intake with a good glass of water.
Do not take this medicine for more than 10 days at a time.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 10 days, stop treatment and see your doctor.
If you forget to take your dose of Aero-red®, do not try to make up for it by taking a double dose.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, go to your nearest medical centre, consult your doctor or pharmacist or call the Toxicology Information Service at: 91 562 04 20, indicating the medication and amount ingested.
Contraindications
Do not take Aero-red® if any of the following circumstances apply
If you are allergic to simethicone or any of the other components contained in it and listed in the package insert of this medicine (available for download at the top of this description).
If symptoms worsen or persist after 10 days of treatment.
If you suffer from constipation.
Compatibility with other medicines
Taking Aero-red® does not affect the effectiveness of other medications. If you are taking, have recently taken, or may need to take other medication, consult your doctor first.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or think you might be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Although the active ingredient in this medicine is not absorbed, pregnant or nursing women should not take this medicine without first talking to a doctor.

Indigestion can occur if you eat too much, eat high-fat foods without chewing, and drink too much alcohol with your meals. Protect the environment. Do not pour the medicine down the drain or into the trash. Always use the SIGRE point of your nearest pharmacy. If you do not know how to dispose of the packaging and the medicines you do not need, ask your pharmacist.
