This medicine is indicated for the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis.
Action and mechanism of Bactil Flas 10 mg
This medicine belongs to the group of medicines called antihistamines, i.e. anti-allergics, and it works by relieving the nasal and ocular symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Dosage
Take 1 oral lyophilisate (10 mg of ebastine), once a day. Occasionally a dose of 20 mg ebastine once daily may be necessary to control symptoms. In these cases, 2 lyophilisates of Bactil Flas 10mg (10 mg ebastine) once daily is recommended. The dose of 10 mg of ebastine per day (1 oral lyophilisate) should not be exceeded.
Contraindications
Do not take if you are under 12 years of age. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to ebastine or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Pharmacist's recommendations
We recommend that, when you finish taking the medicine, do not throw it away in the waste paper bin but dispose of it at the SIGRE point at the pharmacy. Never exceed the dosage indicated in the previous sections or that prescribed by the pharmacist. You should consult a doctor if you get worse or if you do not improve after 7 days.
Adverse reactions
Bactil Flas 10mg, like other medicines, may cause side effects. These side effects include headache, drowsiness or dry mouth.
Storage
Bactil Flas 10mg should not be exposed to heat and should not be kept in an environment above 30ºC. Store in a place out of the reach of children and out of their field of vision.
Composition
The active substance is ebastine.
The other ingredients (excipients) are: gelatine, mannitol, aspartame and peppermint flavouring.
